I love anything that serves more than one purpose, so this mat gets an A+ in my book; it helps keep little ones safe while introducing them to numbers & colors and also aids in sensory development!
The thick cushioning is great for babies learning to crawl and walk (and also great for mommies that are always sitting on the floor)!
