Have you heard? Amazon is now offering Free Same-Day and One-Day Shipping on thousands of items to over 5000 cities across the country for Prime Members!
For those who have been considering whether Prime was worth it now with so many stores offering either free shipping at lower thresholds or free in-store pickup (same day in many cases), this is probably a good reason to hang on to it.
Prime members in over 5000 eligible cities and towns who order in the morning (typically before noon) can get items as soon as 9:00 pm that same day or by 9:00 pm the next day for orders placed in the afternoon.
The list of cities being added is growing by the day. Thirty new ones have just been added and it's expected that soon this service will be available just about everywhere in the country.
Just pop in your zip code on the above link and see if your town is currently eligible. I live in a township and mine was eligible so it's safe to say if you're in or anywhere in the close proximity of a city, you're probably eligible.
And with services like their Subscribe & Save and groceries being available, getting stuff in on the same day you order it without even having to leave home or change your plans to make room for errands is a pretty big deal for moms on the go!
