I saw the ad on "Mom Deals" for Lowe's "buy 4-15qt storage containers for $5 each and get 4-66qt containers free" while supplies last. I immediately ordered and paid for the containers for pick up on 26 December at Lowe's, Coeur D' Alene. When I tried to pick up my purchases, the Lowe's store manager refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of the Mom Deal's ad, claiming it had no bearing at all on Lowe's requirement to honor any or all such "deals".
Needless to say, I'm very unhappy with Mom Deal's & Lowe's for the run-around I've been through; using my credit card to purchase the containers, driving to the store to pick up the containers, wasting my time bickering over the feasibility of Mom Deal's, if the retailers aren't going to honor the "deals" presented to us, what good is it to subscribe, follow, try to act on good deals, when your purchases aren't acknowledged?
