The Home Depot Kids Workshop are free kids activity classes that's offered once a month at Home Depot stores nationwide. Each month, kids can participate in a workshop where they’ll learn to build an exciting new project.
All tools and materials are provided and after the workshop, they get to take their creations home with them. With projects ranging from wooden calendars to a Valentine’s Day Bean Bag Toss, there is something for everyone.
...oh and did we mention the best part?
It's completely FREE and you get freebies just for being part of the Home Depot Kids Workshop!
Kids score a free project kit, an adorable Home Depot kids apron, a certificate of achievement and a pin just for attending! This is easily one of our favorite freebies as all you really have to do is keep up with the schedule!
Home Depot Kids Workshops take place once a month and we're keeping track of all of the details so you'll always know when and what the next project will be.
We'll also be breaking down exactly how these workshops work (so you know what to expect before you arrive); what age range each workshop is for; and upcoming workshop dates so you have an idea of when you’ll be building your next fun project.
How To Attend Home Depot Kids Workshops
The Home Depot Kids Workshop program was created to give all kids an opportunity to participate in a hands-on learning experience that focuses on skill building, creativity, and safety for future DIYers.
The concept is totally brilliant and of course we love that they are FREE, making the program accessible to anyone with a Home Depot nearby. They do a really good job incorporating skills and safety while making the classes fun for both the kids and their parents.
Here's how to register for Home Depot Kids Workshops:

Just add your name, and any required information along with the number of kids that'll be attending and their names. Something to keep in mind, you'll want to register early because spots fill up fast.
When you get to the workshop, your child will get a free project kit, a free kid sized Home Depot apron (which is honestly adorable), a certificate of completion and a pin to recognize a job well done. Again, all free.

Next Home Depot Kids Workshop
|Build a Clock Tray||Saturday, Mar 2, 2019||9:00 AM - 12:00 PM|
The next Home Depot Kids workshop project is set to take place on March 2nd and the project is ‘Build a Clock Tray’. Kids will get to build their own free-standing clock with easy-to-read numbers, movable hands and a storage tray to house reminders or important trinkets.
We especially love this useful project because you can reinforce time telling with a project they made! It can also be used as a tool to encourage the value of time. Once finished, your child can customize it paint and stickers!
